Hello out there! I always said I wouldn’t be the blogger who said sorry if I hadn’t blogged in a while, but sorry!

Since becoming pregnant over 5 months ago, it’s been a HUGE life changer. Starting with, morning sickness. Not sure why it’s called morning sickness because truly it’s all day sickness! At least in my case it was! The morning sickness started to finally wear off around 18 weeks. Praise Jesus! I wasn’t in much of a blogging mood when I wanted to lose my cookies all the time if you know what I mean. I hope to blog more regularly about my daily life, and be a lot more honest.

HONEST ALERT: I started this little blog over a year ago to keep myself occupied with my time and thoughts. These last two years have been challenging. The million dollar question I get after I tell people I’m pregnant. ” Were you guys trying?” The answer to that YES! We tried for quite some time and it just wasn’t happening. I would spend the start of most periods crying, but Joshua was so patient with me reminding me in God’s timing it will happen and it did! I will go into full detail in another post, but I wanted to say sorry to any readers out there( if there’s any left) that I wasn’t more open and honest in my blog. I started the blog to keep myself distracted from not being able to get pregnant. I grew a lot as a person, started to get into some fun crafty things and take on new hobbies. For starters. I learned to crochet, sew, blog, photography, health, play guitar and now do worship for our church regularly. I also learned to draw! It was fun to find things to keep myself occupied and I’m so grateful for that!

FOOD: I also am SOOOOO beyond passionate about health and exercise but never got the chance to translate that onto my blog because when I started this little gem I also started a detox to see if I could help my little body along to be a good garden for pregnancy, and let’s be honest, blogging your eats when you are detoxing are well, BORING! so I can’t wait to share more of my eats either!

CURRENTLY: Josh, myself and baby are doing great! I’m 21 weeks to date and the nausea if finally gone and my appetite is SLOWLY going back to normal.

FOOD CRAVINGS: None really to date. I just like cold things and lots of citrus and fruit. I’ve also been eating turkey sandwiches like it’s my job! PS pickles taste a thousand time’s better pregnant;)

FOOD AVERSIONS: salami, eggs (although if someone else cooks the eggs I can tolerate them now) and anything overly sweet.

EXERCISE: I’m a huge exercise fanatic but haven’t exercised much the last year because I thought it was sabotaging my efforts to get pregnant. Silly me, that wasn’t the case. After the first 2 months I slowly added exercise back in and now exercise 6-7 days a week. I always make sure if feels right for my body and if something doesn’t feel right I do a different exercise. I’ve been doing a lot of Tracy Anderson videos, Jillian Michael’s 30 day shred, walking and weight lifting. It feels amazing to work out again

BABY BODY: The bump is growing. I feel overjoyed to be pregnant but sometimes struggle with my changing body. Josh always reminds me I’m beautiful and I quickly snap out of my body worry!

WEIGHT GAIN: i don’t weight myself, only at the Dr.s. At 4 months I put on 3 pounds. Not much, but I believe that’s from so much all day sickness. When I go back at the end of the month ill be almost 6 months and my guess would be I’ve put on a good 12-15 pounds. We will see and I’ll let you know:)

I think I’ve rattled long enough!

I’m so excited to share more of my daily life and be a lot more transparent. Body, Baby, Family, Eats and all!

Much love Marian<3

Home, There is just something so special to me about being home. Whenever I’m working all I want to do is get home. It’s safe, comfortable and our little haven. I’ve been thinking a lot more about home since I’m out of the home a lot with work these day’s. I miss being home. So, I’m kind of at a cross roads. I want to be home more. Have less stress. How do I do that? Well, find something profession wise more conducive to do that. Hmmmmm….. This has led me to a lot of thinking and soul searching. I think my path is unfolding a little more everyday but the top 2 picks right now or choices shall I say could not be MORE different. Funny how life can be?

So as I sweat, pray, pace the house, talk on the phone endlessly to family and friends. I know whatever I decide will be the right one:)

Has anyone else completely changed their career paths to fit their personality better??? I’m hoping I’m not the only one!

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!!!

This post is dedicated to my Momma of course!

So very Cliche, but let me tell you. This is one AMAZING women!!!

She came to know Christ as her Lord and Savior in her early thirties and since then has raised her family on the solid rock (Jesus Christ ).

Mom, I’m grateful that you shared the gift of salvation and that I know who my true maker is.

I’m so blessed that Dad knew the true meaning of living a life for Christ and that he is now resting in Jesus’ arms.

Mom, truly besides everything you’ve ever done, and will do. My biggest thank you is my Salvation and personal relationship with Christ. Thank you for sharing him with all of us!

If Dad were here he would definitely say the same!

Love you soooo much Mom!

Vaca part 3!!!

We kicked off our first formal night! Sorry the shot is blurry. The lights were wacko and the ship was rocking! I mean I guess it makes sense;)

Josh forgot his tie on our last cruise and this cruise he forgot is coat. Hmm. I guess you can never win.

Classy!

Our second stop was the Beautiful St. Lucia! That was the stop I was very much anticipating!!

We got off the ship knowing we wanted to see everything that St. Lucia had to offer so we wanted to do a tour of the Island.

We walked off the ship and Ran into Junior. Whom we didn’t know but instantly had a connection with him and him with our family. So he asked his boss if he could take us on a personal tour of the island. and boy did he!

The sights we saw! Oh my oh my!

The beaches are gorgeous. the people are friendly, we went and got coconuts where the locals go. Saw some incredible sights.

He showed us the Chocolate plants, banana plants, guava plants.

Banana tree’s are everywhere there so they try to incorporate it into every dish there.

Josh asked Junior how often they ate beef. Junior replied. “Christmas” hmmmm. I think they could teach Americans a thing or two about food!

Some fun stuff, Pirates of the caribbean was filmed here. The bachelor on Jake’s season was filmed there and we saw tons of celebrities houses. Enjoy the photos.

Today has been one of those days.

You see. When one works more then 40 hours a week for long periods of time one has a total melt down.

That person would be me. Things are bumpy, busy, crazy & not how they should be in my book, but they’re exactly how they should be in God’s book

So what to do in this unbelievably weary season???

Trust, pray, seek & have faith. God knows what he’s doing.

There will be some big changes for me in the next two months.

I’m scared, but God is not, because well, He knows what he’s doing and I’m sure glad about that. Because this gal has not a clue.

So now what?

Well, bake cookies for you of course!

Ok, I wish I could deliver these to you in person but the internet will have to do.

I always tell Josh it would be so cool if we had smellavision or could smell things through the phone or internet. One can Dream

I’ll keep dreaming up crazy idea’s, you go and make these Chocolate Chip Vegan Cookies!

There are just no words!

It was the prettiest beach I’ve ever been on. Let’s not forget I’ve lived in Hawaii. So this is saying a lot.

I purchased an ankle bracelet and necklaces on the beach from a lady who Makes them. She said she had 10 kids.

I’m not sure if that’s true or not, but she sure got my money!

Oh such sweet bliss.

(Josh surfing on VERY small waves compared to california) hehe

Hi friends! So I guess I will start at the beginning of our trip and you will just have to hear all about it and be bombarded with pictures of our vaca for a while:)

We flew into Florida first for 4 days to visit some really close friends of ours and went to watch the sunset not long after we got there.

Our friends were also sweet enough to find a healthy vegan/raw restaurant for us to eat.

You better believe we hit that place up a couple of times after that!

It was Happy Healthy Human. Go check it out! They we’re super nice too! Always a bonus!

The next 4 days were filled with warm beaches and a trip to St Augustine as well. So fun! We also walked around the fort there. We wanted to go in

but at $10 a person we figured we would just walk around it!

The weather in Florida was amazing and we were sad to say goodbye to our friends but excited to get on our cruise ship for the caribbean, bahamas & virgin islands! Little did we know we would almost miss our ship!

I’ll save the rest for later!

Much love Marian<3

We are back!!!

Okay, so it’s hard getting back to real life, when we’ve spent our days swimming in bath water ocean’s, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming with turtles, exploring islands, eating coconuts like it’s our job and so much more!

I think I’ll close my eyes and pretend we are back on those warm Caribbean beaches!!!

Nighty Night!
